On April 14, the Department of “Theoretical Aspects of the English Language – 2” of the Second Faculty of English organized a scientific and practical training session with the participation of an international expert.

The event featured Ahmad Altamimi, an English language specialist from Jordan with extensive international experience. The training was devoted to the topic “AI in academia: learning, teaching and research” and focused on the effective use of artificial intelligence in modern education, advanced approaches to teaching English, the development of academic writing skills, and pedagogical strategies aligned with international education standards.

During the session, the expert provided detailed insights into:

  • the role and importance of artificial intelligence in education;
  • modern interactive methods in teaching English;
  • techniques for developing academic writing skills;
  • opportunities for using AI technologies in scientific research.

The training was conducted in an interactive format, with active participation from students and faculty members. Participants received answers to their questions, exchanged experiences, and gained new knowledge and skills in modern pedagogical approaches.

The training was organized by the Head of the Department, PhD M. Abduvahabova, along with senior lecturers G. Tursunova and M. Polvanova.

The event was held at a high level and was positively evaluated by participants. This training played an important role in helping faculty and students master modern educational technologies and learn from international experience.
