Preventive Event

On April 14, a preventive event was organized at the Faculty of Oriental Philology of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

The event was attended by representatives of the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations — Major M. Baykhurozov, Lieutenant Colonel O‘. Imomnazarov, Major F. Khafizov, as well as cadet D. Qahramov, and Lieutenant D. Saidov, an officer of the Uchtepa District Department of Internal Affairs.

During the event, specialists provided students with detailed information on one of today’s pressing issues — cybercrime, its types, causes, and preventive measures. They also explained the negative consequences of various offenses committed among youth and their impact on societal development.

The specialists offered important recommendations on maintaining information security, protecting personal data, and using the Internet correctly and responsibly.

At the end of the event, students received comprehensive answers to their questions. This preventive meeting played an important role in enhancing students’ legal awareness, alerting them to potential risks, and preventing offenses among young people.
