On September 10, 2025, Uzbekistan State World Languages University held an extraordinary administrative meeting chaired by Rector I. Tukhtasinov.

The agenda included:

  • introduction of newly appointed staff;

  • graduate employment and improving education quality;

  • introduction of “Future Hours” in the teaching and learning process;

  • ensuring continuity between higher and general education systems;

  • development of vocational education, proposals in journalism and law fields;

  • improvement of the credit-modular system;

  • youth employment and implementation of dual education;

  • establishment of an advanced engineering school and career orientation from grade 7;

  • digitalization and increasing the effectiveness of educational activities.

The meeting also addressed the introduction of Chinese best practices and preparations for the upcoming China–Uzbekistan Forum in Samarkand this November.

 

   

   

During the session, the Agency for Education Quality Control, the Agency for Vocational Education, and university vice-rectors presented reports. In particular, criteria for assessing faculty performance based on Key Performance Indicators (KPI) were presented.

At the end, Rector I. Tuxtasinov outlined concrete tasks for improving education quality and strengthening the university’s scientific potential.
