On February 26, 2026, the Department of Russian Literature and Teaching Methodology of the Faculty of Russian Philology organized a youth scientific and practical conference entitled “Innovations of World Philology in the Research of 21st Century Youth: Results and Prospects.”

At the opening ceremony, Sh.M. Ismatova, Head of the Department for the Organization of Research Activities of Gifted Students at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, emphasized that such youth conferences serve as platforms where theory and practice are harmoniously combined, and where the pursuit of knowledge becomes a key driving force in the professional development of young people.

T.S. Alimkhodjayeva, Deputy Chairperson of the Russian Cultural Center, noted that the Russian language and literature represent not only a professional choice but also a powerful tool of intercultural communication and an important factor in scientific research and professional growth.

Yu.U. Matenova, Head of the Department of Russian Language and Literature at the National Pedagogical University of Uzbekistan, warmly congratulated the participants and highlighted that the conference provides a unique platform for the emergence of serious academic research and the formation of a culture of scholarly discussion.

A.B. Rakhmonov, Dean of the Faculty of Russian Philology, wished future philologists success in their academic and professional careers.

The plenary session featured the following presentations:

  1. Nonna Kocharova (2nd-year Master’s student) – “Precedent Names in Media Discourse.”

  2. Niso Samigova (1st-year Master’s student) – “Tashkent and Petersburg in the Works of A. Akhmatova.”

  3. Sevara Suyarova (2nd-year Master’s student) – “The Works of I. Krylov in the Context of the Development and Formation of the Comic Genre in European and Russian Culture.”

  4. Umida Maxamadaliyeva (2nd-year Master’s student) – “Turning the Pages of the Life and Work of the People’s Poet of Uzbekistan Alexander Faynberg.”

  5. Jamshidbek Mirzamurodov (2nd-year Bachelor’s student) – “Master of Poetic Lines: The Memory and Legacy of A. Faynberg.”

At the end of the conference, certificates were awarded to the participants. The event was organized at a high level and stood out for its atmosphere of academic dialogue and exchange of experience.
