UzDJTU Representatives Continue Their Visit to Indonesia at Gunadarma University

On February 7, 2025, the delegation of the Uzbek State University of World Languages (UzDJTU) visited Gunadarma University, one of Indonesia's leading higher education institutions.

During the meeting, both sides held extensive discussions on student and faculty exchange programs, grant allocations, student mobility, and scientific cooperation opportunities.

During the visit, the founder and rector of Gunadarma University, Dr. Prof. I.S. Margianti, provided detailed information about the university’s capabilities and presented video materials. As a friend of Uzbekistan, the rector highlighted her years of experience, active participation in elections in Uzbekistan, and collaboration with several higher education institutions.

As part of the cooperation discussions, deans and department heads of English language and communication programs also participated. Additionally, opportunities for grants and student exchanges in medical communication, journalism, English language, Indonesian language, and doctoral programs at Gunadarma University were discussed.

At the end of the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Gunadarma University Rector Dr. I.S. Margianti and the Vice-Rector of UzDJTU.

Background Information

Gunadarma University has 9 faculties and educates over 40,000 students. Located in Jakarta, the university has more than 60 buildings. Additionally, it owns a technology park laboratory on an island covering 63 hectares, providing modern education and research opportunities.
