On April 25, 2025, a discussion was held between the Branch Center under Uzbekistan State World Languages University (UzSWLU) and the prestigious Gunadarma University of Indonesia regarding the implementation of a joint professional development program. Alongside UzSWLU faculty members, two professors from the Faculty of English Language No. 3 — Zarina Rashidovna Bobojonova and Sadbarg Mirolimovna Jumayeva — also participated in the negotiations with the Gunadarma University delegation.
Within the framework of the program, plans were discussed to expand academic cooperation between the two higher education institutions, improve teaching methodologies for foreign languages, and exchange experiences in the fields of digital education, artificial intelligence, and linguistics. It was agreed to begin with online seminars and training sessions, followed by the launch of academic exchange programs. The collaboration envisions utilizing Gunadarma University's experience in modern technologies while UzSWLU will present its advanced approaches to language instruction.
As part of this joint professional development program, the above-mentioned professors from the Faculty of English Language No. 3 traveled to Indonesia. At Gunadarma University — one of the top ten universities in the region — the instructors are not only enhancing their knowledge and skills but also sharing their own experiences. Just recently, they conducted a seminar-training session for third-year students majoring in English Language and Literature. Additionally, they visited the university’s 60-hectare “TECHNO PARK” research and experimental garden, where they personally planted fruit tree saplings.
