On December 28, 2024, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Uzbekistan State World Languages University and the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration. The agreement was formalized with the signatures of UzSWLU Rector Ilhomjon Tukhtasinov and RANEPA Vice-Rector Andrey Margolin.

This agreement aims to establish and develop academic, scientific, cultural, and other forms of cooperation between UzSWLU and RANEPA in the fields of education, training, and professional development of scientific and pedagogical staff, as well as the implementation of educational and research projects and programs.

On February 28, the Chelyabinsk branch of the Presidential Academy will host the 12th International Scientific and Practical Conference, "Profile and Professional Education in the Context of a Modern Multicultural Space," in which the Uzbekistan State World Languages University will participate as a partner and co-organizer of the scientific project.

“The scope of cooperation is extensive, as the resources and potential of our universities are recognized within the academic educational community of Russia and Uzbekistan. We have many ideas that we can implement together, and we are ready to continue working systematically,” said Yevgeny Aldoshenko, Director of the Chelyabinsk branch of the Presidential Academy.

The coordinators of the agreement’s implementation are the International Cooperation Department of UzSWLU, led by Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Abdurakhim Nasirov, and the International Development Department of RANEPA, represented by Chief Specialist Anzhelika Atayeva and Viktoria Sharonova, Head of the Department of Linguistics and Professional Communication at the Chelyabinsk branch.

“The signing of this agreement is a significant step in strengthening cooperation in science and education, not only between the universities but also between Russia and Uzbekistan as a whole. This level of communication fosters cooperation among nations and peoples worldwide,” Viktoria Sharonova emphasized.

The Uzbekistan State World Languages University began its activities in 1949 as the Tashkent Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages. The university has a 70-year history and cooperates with 61 universities worldwide. Today, it is a modern educational complex with a well-developed infrastructure, preparing specialists in high demand across various sectors of the economy and the socio-cultural sphere of the region.
