At the final stage of the short-term course entitled “Theoretical and Practical Models of a Modern Intensive Course in Simultaneous Interpretation”, organized by the Network Center, meaningful training sessions were conducted for participants within the framework of two modules
On the final day of the course, the sessions were led by experienced specialists in simultaneous interpretation — Bakhtiyor Salakhiddinovich Yakubov and Shakhnoza Rustamovna Mustanova — who possess many years of professional experience, profound theoretical knowledge, and the ability to effectively integrate theory with practical application. The training consistently covered key theoretical and practical issues, including the technical aspects of simultaneous interpretation, booth etiquette, rapid information processing, strategic approaches, and ensuring terminological accuracy.

Another significant event of the final day was a meeting between the Rector of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, Professor Ilkhomjon Madaminovich Tuxtasinov, and the course participants in an open dialogue format. During the meeting, the Rector emphasized the role of simultaneous interpretation in international communication, the importance of professional translation services in the development of the state and society, and issues related to training highly qualified specialists in this field. The participants’ active engagement in the learning process, their commitment to professional growth, and the results demonstrated during practical sessions were highly appreciated. Recommendations were also provided on continuing systematic training in simultaneous interpretation, maintaining continuous self-development, and adhering to professional standards.

The knowledge and skills acquired through this short-term course, aimed at enhancing the theoretical and practical competence of simultaneous interpreters, will significantly contribute to improving participants’ capacity to professionally and effectively organize simultaneous interpretation at conferences, forums, and official events.
