On April 3, a meeting was held at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University through the ZOOM platform.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the leadership of more than twenty universities, vice-rectors of higher education institutions, deans and heads of departments.
It contains the existing problems and proposals in the teaching of foreign languages in non-philological higher education institutions, problems and proposals related to the non-filling of master's quotas in non-philological educational fields, the hours allocated to the master's degree in non-philological educational fields and the emerging problems and proposals regarding the teaching of foreign languages only in the 1st stage, The diversity of curricula and literaturenon-philological educational fields , the problems and suggestions arising from the local and foreign qualification improvement of teachers of non-philological education, specific suggestions and issues related to bringing the affairs of teaching foreign languages and quality personnel training to a new level in the republic were discussed.
