On January 22, a meeting was held with students of the Faculty of International Journalism who are departing for Malaysia under the university grant within the framework of the memorandum signed with INTI International University

For reference: INTI International University & Colleges is one of the most prestigious private higher education institutions in Malaysia, ranked 509th in the QS World University Rankings 2026. An agreement has been reached with the university on faculty and student exchanges, joint educational programs, and cooperation in other areas.

 

 

In addition, in 2025, 28 students from the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages (UzSWLU) participated in a summer exchange program funded by the INTI grant, gaining the opportunity to study abroad, improve language skills, and exchange experiences.

At the meeting, the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, A. Nasirov, emphasized that students should focus on giving presentations about Uzbekistan and UzSWLU while in Malaysia, providing information about ongoing reforms in the country, as well as collecting necessary materials for future academic work and sharing experiences.

The Head of the International Cooperation Department, H. Yuldashev, instructed students to properly showcase Uzbekistan’s rich cultural heritage and national traditions, organize cultural and educational events, strictly follow Malaysian laws, take safety seriously, and avoid involvement in illegal actions. He also stressed that students should deepen their knowledge in language and journalism according to a clear plan and submit a report upon their return.

The department specialist, M. Ogay, familiarized students with organizational and methodological guidelines and practical instructions.
The Dean of the Faculty of International Journalism, A. Matyakubov, stressed the importance of students becoming acquainted with the education process in journalism and communication at INTI and subsequently sharing their acquired experience within the faculty.

 

 

At the end of the meeting, students expressed gratitude to the administration of UzSWLU for the opportunities provided and expressed confidence that this program would be an important stage in their professional and personal development.
