Professors and Lecturers of Uzbek State University of World Languages at the Scientific-Practical Seminar at Marmara University: Towards Cooperation and Innovation in Education
From June 17 to 19, 2025, a scientific-practical seminar was held at Marmara University in Istanbul, Turkey. The seminar was aimed at developing experience exchange in advanced methodologies, innovative approaches, and multilingualism in the international educational field, as well as strengthening global cooperation ties.
On June 17, the official opening ceremony of the seminar took place, attended by representatives of Marmara University and the Uzbekistan delegation. During the event, the following lectures on pressing issues in education were delivered:
• “Gender Mainstream Initiative: Redefining Academic Borders”
• “Peculiarities of Teaching Turkic Languages to Foreigners (Using Uzbek as an Example)”
On June 18, the second day of the seminar featured practical workshops and interactive sessions, including:
• A seminar on “Multimedia and Digital Platforms in Language Learning”
• Group discussions on “Intercultural Communication and Language Teaching”
In the afternoon, participants visited Marmara University campuses and exchanged international experiences.
On June 19, the Uzbekistan delegation presented their reports. During the conference, the delegations reached important agreements to strengthen cooperation, share experiences, and launch new projects in education.
This international event was not only an effective platform for experience exchange but also an important step towards enhancing the active participation and prestige of Uzbekistan’s higher education institutions on the global stage.
