On September 23, the heads of universities of the Italian Republic visited UzSWLU.

The delegation of heads of universities of the Italian Republic, consisting of Rector of the University of Ca-Foscari Lippello Titian, Rector of the University of Salento Pollicho Fabio, Rector of the University of Foreigners Perugia de Cesarsi Valerio, Vice-rector for International Relations of the University of Florence Giovanetti George, Vice-Rector for International Relations of the University of Siena Foreigners Bagna Carla, headed by the leadership of Uzgtu began with a greeting of representatives.

 Welcoming the guests at the entrance to the Main Building of the University, Rector of UzSWLU I.Tukhtasinov, Vice-rector for International Cooperation A.Nasyrov, Head of the Department of International Relations H.Yuldashev, Dean of the Faculty of Translation U.Yuldashev, Head of the Department of Theory and Practice of Italian Translation B.Ergashova and heads of universities of the Italian Republic organized a meeting with members of the delegation.

At the beginning of the meeting, I.Tukhtasinov's proposals and information on the activities of UzSWLU, teaching the Italian language, and cooperation were heard. Then data and proposals for cooperation from the heads of Italian universities were presented.

At the end of the meeting, they exchanged views and shared souvenirs.

The following issues were discussed at the meeting:

1) attracting qualified teachers of Italian universities to UzSWLU in order to improve the teaching of the Italian language;

2) sending teachers of Italian and other foreign languages to Italian universities for advanced training;

3) organization of short-term scientific internships for young scientists and researchers of UzSWLU in Italian universities;

4) providing grants to students studying Italian and other foreign languages;

5) Development and participation in international projects, including projects of the EU Gasmas+ program ;

6) co-authoring textbooks and teaching aids on the Italian language;

7) organization of summer and winter camps for students in order to get acquainted with the history and rich culture of our countries;

8) attracting funds from international organizations, foundations and foundations to organize events within the framework of cooperation.
