On December 3, the Department of Linguistic Support for Intercultural Communication of the Faculty of International Journalism of Uzbek State University of World Languages ​​held a training seminar for 4th year students with Professor Ujwal Jana from the University of Delhi in India.

In the seminar-training on the topic "The History of Translation", Indian professor Ujjwal Jana and professors of the department gave information to students about types of translation, including intralingual, interlingual, intersemiotic translation, and analyzed the topic with the help of examples.

Also, historical achievements in the field of translation, changes, stages of development, and examples about the history of translation of ancient works were shared at the seminar.

Students took an active part in the seminar-training and got answers to their questions from Professor Ujwal Jana. The seminar training was full of discussion.
