Training Workshop “Mechanisms for Working with Students Exhibiting Destructive Behavior”

On November 24, the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages held another important training workshop aimed at ensuring the psychological well-being of students. The event, titled “Mechanisms for Working with Students Exhibiting Destructive Behavior,” was organized at the initiative of the university psychologist Z.T. Khayrullayeva for tutors of the Faculties of International Journalism and Russian Philology.

 

 

The main goal of the workshop was to prevent unfavorable situations faced by young people, provide them with psychological support, and teach effective mechanisms of communication and assistance in difficult life circumstances.

The workshop focused on the following areas:
• preventive approaches to reducing the likelihood of students encountering uncomfortable or dangerous situations;
• effective methods of working with young people experiencing stress, crisis, or complex psychological states;
• explaining the psychophysiological mechanisms of suicidal tendencies, identifying early warning signs, and forming comprehensive recommendations for prevention.

During the workshop, participants practiced crisis-communication techniques, learned modern approaches to identifying risk factors, and took part in training sessions based on real-life cases.
