UzSWLU is establishing cooperative relations with prestigious higher education institutions in Brazil and Argentina.
Currently, agreements are being reached with the esteemed Brazilian universities of São Paulo and Campinas to establish mutual cooperation. On June 16, 2024, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed by Professor Dr. Osvaldir Taranto, executive director for internationalization at Campinas University, department head Mayara Ferreira Morais, UzSWLU vice-rector for international affairs Abdurahim Nasirov, department head I. Husan Yuldashev, and Professor Dilrabo Bakhronova. An online roundtable discussion was also conducted on the topic of introducing Portuguese as a second language.
During the meeting, mutual cooperation agreements were discussed, including the exchange of experts and students, the duration of mutual visits, and the formation of the delegation to be sent on business trips. Additionally, the business trips and bilaterally beneficial events were organized, with information provided about the content and essence of the 43rd session of UNESCO and Uzbekistan's initiatives. Brief information was shared on the history of Uzbekistan, its great scholars, the reforms being implemented today, and mutual participation in events planned to be held in Uzbekistan and abroad.
