UzSWLU Teachers Visit Gunadarma University in Jakarta within Joint Professional Development Program

On December 20, 2025, teachers of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University visited Gunadarma University in Jakarta, Indonesia, as part of a joint professional development course organized by the Center for Retraining and Advanced Training of Pedagogical Staff under the university.

During the visit, a productive and meaningful meeting took place between representatives of the two higher education institutions. The meeting covered the comparison of education systems, organization of the learning process, modern pedagogical approaches aimed at developing students’ knowledge and skills, and the use of digital and innovative educational technologies.

Additionally, UzSWLU faculty conducted microteaching sessions and practical training lessons. Interactive methods, communicative approaches, effective use of multimedia tools, and techniques to increase student engagement were demonstrated in practice.

The lessons were received with great interest by the professors and students of Gunadarma University. At the end of the training, an open discussion was held on pedagogical experiences, challenges in the teaching process, and solutions.

This visit was significant for strengthening bilateral cooperation, studying international educational experiences, and enhancing teachers’ professional competencies.
