Emergency Preparedness Drill Held at UzSWLU Student Dormitory

On September 10, 2025, from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM, an emergency preparedness drill was conducted at the student dormitory of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University (UzSWLU) in cooperation with the Uchtepa District Emergency Department and subordinate organizations of the district's emergency management system.

The main objective of the drill was to develop students' skills in responding appropriately during fire and other emergency situations, adhering to evacuation protocols, understanding safety measures, and acting promptly and cooperatively with emergency services.

During the training, Emergency Department personnel conducted practical exercises with the students, providing instructions on how to use fire extinguishers, administer first aid, and evacuate to a safe area.

The event was attended by UzSWLU Rector Ilhomjon Tuxtasinov and other university officials, who observed the drill process.

As part of the training, specialists also inspected the university’s heating systems and boiler facilities. It was noted that the systems meet safety standards and that all necessary measures have been taken to ensure safe living conditions for students.

This drill served as a hands-on learning experience for students and contributed to enhancing their emergency response awareness and preparedness.
