According to the order of the rector of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University dated August 10, 2024, 166/HB, 11 professors of the University reported that from September 30 to October 12, 2024, they returned to training in Finnish and Swedish educational institutions, which were in high positions in the world rankings.
On October 22, a scientific seminar on the topic "Education system of Finland and Uzbekistan: comparative analysis and opportunities” was organized with the participation of these 11 professors and teachers.
The Seminar was organized on the basis of the experiences gained in the process of foreign qualification, by the vice-rector of the University for Scientific Affairs and innovation Otabek Yusupov, head of the Department of pedagogy and psychology, professor Djurayev and professor Isakulova. This seminar, held in cooperation with the Department of scientific affairs and innovation, was attended by the head of the Department of Scientific Affairs and Innovation, Associate Professor Kamola Muratkasimova, doctoral students, professors and teachers of the Department of pedagogy and psychology and other interested people.
A comparative analysis of similar and different aspects of the Uzbek and Finnish education system was carried out by the speakers at the scientific seminar.
Opinions were exchanged on the possibilities of application of Finnish educational experiences to the university educational process, foreign experiments on the study of foreign languages, teaching methodologies were discussed, educational opportunities were described in the organization of Independent Education.
Examples were also given from the experiments of the concept practice” University 3:0". The world is presented with a rating of 11 Finnish universities that took part in the project” the world through the eyes of three missions".
