2024-11-29 03-22 On November 20, at the N2 Department of theoretical aspects of the English language of UzSWLU, a scientific seminar was presented on the topic “Development of critical thinking of students of the Philological direction through strategies for reading in English.”
The program was organized by the teacher of the Department Muratova Nargiza Bakhramovna with the participation of all the members of the department in order to discuss effective teaching strategies for developing critical thinking skills in English for students studying philology.
The topic of the Seminar was important not only for philology, but also for being competitive in the modern global environment, during the event information was presented on the importance of critical thinking, approaches to the development of critical thinking in English, techniques for the formation of critical thinking in classes.
It is appropriate to note that teaching students these skills takes a lot of time and consistent work, but the results are justified.
