A seminar-training titled “Emotional Intelligence” was organized at the Faculty of Oriental Philology.
In cooperation with Sh. Bo‘stonova, psychologist for women at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, and G. Odilova, advisor to the dean on women’s issues at the Faculty of Oriental Philology, a seminar-training on the topic of “Emotional Intelligence” was held for the faculty’s teaching staff.
The seminar-training was aimed at reducing psychological stress and professional burnout encountered in teaching activities, identifying the psychological roots of potential conflicts, analyzing the factors that cause them, and finding ways to eliminate them.
The main objective of the seminar was to understand and develop emotional intelligence not as a personal trait, but as a scientifically grounded professional competence. During the training, teachers were provided with practical knowledge and skills on recognizing and managing their emotions during the teaching process, as well as perceiving students’ behavior not as a personal attitude but as a psychological signal.
The seminar-training was conducted in an interactive and practical format and included:

emotional gymnastics techniques.
The seminar contributed to strengthening the emotional resilience of the teaching staff, increasing professional effectiveness, and fostering a healthy psychological environment.
