During the meeting of the Council of O’zDJTU held on October 10, in accordance with tradition, those who received awards and academic degrees were honored. In particular

 The Pro-Rector for Finance and Economic Affairs, Doctor of Economic Sciences (DSc), Professor Abdullayev Suyun Ortiqovich was awarded the "Excellence in Higher Education" badge and the title of "Academic" based on the order of the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 24, 2024, No. 352, as well as according to the protocol of the Presidium of the Academy of Sciences of the Peoples of Central Asia dated July 28, 2024, No. 1/07-24;

 The Dean of the Faculty of English Philology, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Ergasheva Guli Ismoilovna was awarded the "Shuhrat" medal for exemplary contributions to the education and training system on the occasion of Teacher and Mentor Day on October 1, in accordance with the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

 The Dean of the Faculty of Russian Philology, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Acting Professor Rahmonov Azizxon Bositxonovich was awarded the International "Commonwealth Debuts" Prize established by the Council for Humanitarian Cooperation of the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of CIS countries on September 17, 2024. The Rector Ilkhomjon Madaminovich expressed sincere congratulations to the award recipients.

Additionally:  The Dean of the Faculty of Translation, Yo’ldoshev Ulugbek Ravshanbekovich, received a diploma confirming his degree of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences (DSc);  Samiyeva Sayyora Ne’matovna, a senior lecturer at the Department of Theoretical Aspects of English Language of the 1st Faculty, received a diploma confirming her degree of Philosophy Doctor (PhD) in Pedagogical Sciences;  Moydinova Elmira Kamariddinovna, a lecturer at the Department of Methodology of Teaching English of the 3rd Faculty, also received a diploma confirming her degree of Philosophy Doctor (PhD) in Pedagogical Sciences;

 Recipients of diplomas confirming their degree of Philosophy Doctor (PhD) in Philological Sciences:  Narbayeva Gulnoza Xusanovna, a senior lecturer at the Department of Practical Spanish Language of the Faculty of Roman-German Philology;  Mamatkulova Saidaxon Shukurjonovna, a lecturer at the Department of Practical Translation of the Faculty of Translation;  Saidova Muhayyo O’ktamovna, a lecturer at the Department of Information Services and Public Relations of the Faculty of International Journalism, were honored and received laptops as gifts.
