On December 15, the Uzbekistan State World Languages University successfully held the official presentation of the “Foundation Course” training program and a Memorandum of Cooperation signing ceremony with partner educational institutions. The event was organized by the University’s Department for Coordination of Joint Educational Programs.

The event was attended by the Rector of the University, Ilkhomjon Tokhtasinov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation A. Nasirov, Head of the International Cooperation Department X. Yuldashev, Head of the Department for Coordination of Joint Educational Programs F. Musaeva, as well as representatives of partner organizations.

During the event, the goals and objectives of the course, its internal strategy, and its importance in preparing prospective students for higher education were presented in detail. The “Foundation Course” is aimed at strengthening students’ academic knowledge, providing in-depth study and practical application of foreign languages, developing digital literacy, and forming universal competencies essential for today’s labor market. In addition, systematic preparation based on the requirements of international certificates such as IELTS, CEFR, and others is ensured.

In order to develop academic cooperation, Memorandums of Cooperation were signed with the following educational institutions:

  • Secondary School No. 11, Guliston city, Syrdarya region, Director S. Bektemirov

  • Secondary School No. 15, Guliston city, Syrdarya region, Director I.M. Abdugapparov

  • Secondary School No. 7, Guliston city, Syrdarya region, Director Z.N. Anvarovna

  • Secondary School No. 8, Guliston city, Syrdarya region, Director Sh. Shodmonqulova

  • “Nihao” Training Center specializing in Chinese language instruction, Head J.N. Abdulhakimov

Within the framework of this cooperation, graduates are provided with the following opportunities:

  • strengthening academic knowledge;

  • in-depth study and practical use of foreign languages;

  • development of digital literacy;

  • formation of universal competencies required in the modern labor market;

  • systematic preparation for international certification exams (IELTS, CEFR, etc.).

The signed memorandums will serve to implement joint educational projects, conduct classes and consultations with the participation of qualified specialists, and create broader opportunities for graduates.
