"Discussion on the topic 'The Most Active Reader'

On November 29, 2025, the Department of Methodology of Teaching English-3, in collaboration with general secondary schools, organized an important spiritual and educational event. Initiated by teachers N. Sultonova and Sh. Samanova, a discussion on the topic 'The Most Active Reader' was held with the participation of students at General Secondary School No. 164 in the Chilonzor district.

The main goal of the event was to develop reading culture among students, encourage independent thinking among youth, and reward the most active readers. During the discussion, teachers gave interesting presentations about the role of books in personal development, their importance in enriching the spiritual world, and broadening one's worldview.

The event also yielded practical results. In particular, the school administration and department representatives agreed to develop a plan for regular spiritual and educational events, literary evenings, and book presentations to increase students' interest in books.

Additionally, it was decided to organize a permanent 'Most Active Reader' contest in the school and reward the winners with books, diplomas, and commemorative gifts.

This discussion was recognized as an important initiative aimed at increasing young people's interest in books and enhancing their intellectual potential."
