On February 24, the PRESSETT training started its work at the Uzbek State University of World Languages.

The main goal of the training is to strengthen the professional development process of teachers, deeply explore reflective practices, and implement them in the educational process.

 

 

Over 160 faculty members from universities across Uzbekistan participated in the training.

The event was opened with welcoming speeches by the Rector of UzSWLU Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov and the Director of the British Council’s office in Uzbekistan, Denise Waddingham.

 

 

The following topics are being discussed during the training:

- The concept of CPD and reflective practices
- Methodological lesson examples and analysis
- Reflection in language learning lessons
- Reflection and planning in teaching practices

Experienced specialists – Nodira Isamukhamedova, Roza Ziryanova, Saida Irgasheva, Kamola Alimova, and others participated in the training, sharing their experiences.
