In order to ensure the implementation of the Resolution No. 415 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 11, 2024, a Network Center for Retraining and Advanced Training of Pedagogical Staff was established under the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages.

In accordance with the Order No. 474 of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 23, 2024, a total of 897 trainees are scheduled to undergo advanced training in the areas of "Philology and Language Teaching" (English, French, German, Russian, Italian, Spanish) and "Theory and Practice of Translation" in 2025.

From January 6 to January 30, 2025, 26 trainees were directly admitted to the course in the "Philology and Language Teaching" (English language) field and completed their advanced training. According to the results of the exit tests, 7 trainees did not pass the test, and 1 trainee did not participate in the exit test.

On January 30, the defense of qualification graduation projects took place at the Network Center for Retraining and Advanced Training of Pedagogical Staff under the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages, where 18 trainees from various higher education institutions (6 from regional universities and 12 from Tashkent-based institutions) defended their qualification thesis.

The rector of the university, Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, director of the network center, Jamila Abduganiyeva, and other officials participated in and evaluated the defense process.

For reference: Trainees who successfully passed the exit test defend their graduation projects before the Attestation Commission established by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan under Order No. 278 dated August 2, 2024. Based on the commission's conclusion, the trainees are awarded a qualification certificate.
