On January 9 of the current year, a regular scientific seminar for faculty members was held at the Faculty of English Language–2. The seminar was conducted by Sohiba Mustafoyevna Begmatova, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philological Sciences.

Seminar topic:
“Practical support in developing the scientific and innovative activities and research potential of gifted students of the faculty, as well as in implementing their future plans and initiatives”

The event aimed to develop the research and innovative activities of gifted students, enhance their scientific potential, and support their prospective initiatives. During the seminar, the current state of gifted students’ research and innovation activities was thoroughly analyzed, existing challenges were discussed, and proposals and recommendations for addressing them were developed.

Special attention was given to the practical implementation of students’ scientific ideas, the formation of startup and innovative projects, and their commercialization.

In addition, issues related to improving mechanisms for identifying, supporting, and encouraging gifted students, as well as effectively organizing the activities of student scientific societies and clubs, were discussed.

At the conclusion of the seminar, priority tasks were identified to strengthen mentoring and practical support mechanisms for implementing students’ scientific and professional plans. This scientific seminar is significant in increasing the activity of gifted students, supporting their scientific and innovative endeavors, and contributing to their future professional development.
