On December 29, 2025, within the framework of the PRESETT program, national consultants organized a seminar-training for faculty members of the specialty departments of the English Language–1 and English Language–2 faculties on the topic:
“Transforming Continuous Professional Development and Reflective Practice in Training Future English Language Teachers.”

The seminar-training was conducted by national consultants Nilufar Mukhammadova and Gulnora Nasirova. Special attention was given to introducing clear educational criteria aligned with international standards, ensuring continuity of professional development, and applying reflective approaches in the training process of future English language teachers.

The training was organized within the framework of the Accelerating English Language Learning in Central Asia (AELLCA) initiative implemented by the British Council through the PRESETT program. It aims to develop an inclusive education system in the region and improve the quality of English language teacher training. The main academic partner of the program is the Norwich Institute for Language Education (United Kingdom). At the end of the training, participants acquired practical knowledge and skills essential for use in their professional activities.
