A seminar-training titled “Individual Psychological Characteristics of Generation Z Representatives” was organized for the faculty members of the Faculty of English Philology in cooperation with Sh. Boʻstonova, psychologist for women at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, and Sh. Zokirov, Deputy Dean for Spiritual and Educational Affairs.
The main purpose of the seminar-training was to analyze the psychological differences that exist in the process of working with today’s Generation Z students. During the session, cognitive styles, emotional sensitivity, and motivation mechanisms were thoroughly examined across three key areas.
Special attention was also given to reducing psychological stress and professional fatigue among faculty members and staff, identifying the psychological roots of potential professional burnout, and addressing ways to prevent it.
An important conclusion was drawn during the seminar:
Understanding Generation Z does not mean lowering expectations, but rather developing an appropriate and effective approach tailored to them.
During the training, role-playing techniques were applied, allowing teachers to experience communication from the perspective of Generation Z.
