The Activities of Foreign Language Development and Teaching Centers Are Being Effectively Organized

On December 10, 2025, an очередное English club session was organized at Secondary School No. 299 of the Shaykhontohur District in Tashkent city with the participation of professors, teachers, and students of the Department of English Language Teaching Methodology, Faculty of English Language II, Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

The session was devoted to the topic “Word Formation: Creating New Words through Word Formation Types” and was conducted with a variable group formed from 10th-grade students. During the lesson, special attention was paid to strengthening students’ core English language skills and preparing them for the B2 level certification.

Throughout the session, systematic theoretical explanations were provided on the mechanisms of word formation in English and its main types. The role of word formation in expanding vocabulary and expressing ideas clearly and fluently was illustrated through practical examples.

In addition, students were given the opportunity to reinforce their knowledge through interactive exercises, text analysis, and creative tasks organized in pairs and groups. At the end of the session, students demonstrated active participation and the ability to freely express their opinions on the topic, which further enhanced their interest in learning English more deeply.
