On 27 November, the Network Centre for Retraining and Professional Development of Pedagogical Personnel under the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages held the defense of graduation projects submitted by trainees of two specializations within the “Philology and Language Teaching” program.

1. Philology and Language Teaching: Russian Language
Trainees of this specialization completed their studies within a joint professional development program organized in cooperation with Saint Petersburg State University (SPbSU), one of the Russian Federation’s universities ranked in the TOP-300 of the QS World University Rankings.

 

 

2. Philology and Language Teaching: English Language
Trainees of the English specialization presented their graduation projects on foreign language teaching methodology, development of alternative lesson models, interactive approaches, formation of communicative competence, and the use of modern digital tools in the educational process. Their projects covered innovative lesson scenarios, effective selection of learning resources, PBL, CLIL, and AI-integrated teaching methods.

The event was attended by the Chair of the Attestation Commission, Rector of the University, Professor Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, who congratulated the graduates and praised their enthusiasm and professional development throughout the training period.

This final stage plays an important role in the trainees’ professional growth, methodological preparedness, and their ability to apply innovative approaches in the educational process.
