On December 18 of this year, in the UzSWLU main building, an awarding ceremony was held for the winners of the competition of social videos announced by the university's anti-corruption "Compliance-control" system management department.

At the event, honored cultural worker of Uzbekistan, associate professor, "Dustlik (Friendship)" order, "Shuhrat (Honor)" medal holder, popular director, actor, screenwriter Hilal Nasimov, first vice-rector of UzSWLU for youth issues and spiritual-educational affairs Valijon Sadiyev, head of the department of youth issues and spiritual-educational affairs Bahodir Eshbekov, the head of the anti-corruption "Compliance-control" system management department Bahodir Hoshimov and prize-winning students participated.

For information, the videos submitted to the competition should reveal the corrupt crimes related to education and summarize the ideas promoting the prevention of its consequences, should not exceed 5 minutes in length, be creative, high-quality, original and based on copyright, and should reflect the logo of UzSWLU.

 

In determining the winners of the competition, the main attention was paid to the participants' creative approach, political and legal literacy, and ability to clearly explain the topic. The competition encourages young people to develop their legal knowledge on the crime of corruption, and to take an innovative approach to preventing corruption, and to think independently.

The submitted videos were reviewed and objectively evaluated by the members of the commission made up of experienced specialists.

According to the results, Aminjon Oblokhlov, a 4th year student of Bukhara State University won the 1st place and was awarded with a special diploma with a TV set as a gift. Also, Abror Tolakhojayev, a 3rd year student of the Uzbekistan State Institute of Art and Culture, won the 2nd place and was awarded a special diploma with a laptop. Behruz Shukurov, a 4th year student of the Bukhara State University, won the 3rd place and was awarded a special diploma with a tablet.

The purpose of this contest, held throughout the republic, is to increase the efficiency of the anti-corruption system, to form conscientiousness and honesty in children, as well as an attitude of intolerance towards corruption, using innovative ideas and new mechanisms in the legal education and training processes in the field of anti-corruption.
