Visit of the Delegation of Uzbekistan State World Languages University to Baku Slavic University

In the afternoon, a delegation representing Uzbekistan State World Languages University paid a visit to Baku Slavic University. This visit was recognized as an important initiative aimed at further expanding cooperation between higher education institutions of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, as well as strengthening academic and scientific ties.

 

 

The delegation was warmly welcomed by the team of Baku Slavic University led by Rector Anar Nagiyev. The meetings were held in an atmosphere of mutual respect, open dialogue, and constructive cooperation.

The delegation included the Rector of Uzbekistan State World Languages University, Ilhomjon Tuxtasinov; the Head of the Department for International Rankings, Bekzod Nishanaliyev; and the Head of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, Dusmurod Djurayev.

Within the framework of the visit, a comprehensive exchange of views took place during the meeting with the leadership of Baku Slavic University on issues related to the organization of the educational process, the multilingual education model, research activities, and areas of international cooperation. The parties paid particular attention to experience exchange in higher education, the development of academic mobility, and the implementation of promising joint projects.

At the conclusion of the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed, covering the development of academic mobility, expansion of collaboration in research activities, professional development and exchange of experience among faculty members, advancement of the multilingual education model, as well as the teaching and promotion of the Uzbek language in foreign higher education institutions. This document is intended to ensure the systematic and long-term development of relations between the two universities.

One of the significant outcomes achieved within the framework of this agreement was the establishment of an academic exchange between students of the Faculty of Russian Philology of Uzbekistan State World Languages University and students studying Russian at Baku Slavic University. From now on, students of both institutions will have opportunities to exchange knowledge and experience through academic mobility programs, enhance their research potential, and develop cooperation in new academic fields.

 

 

Overall, the agreements reached as a result of the visit created a solid foundation for establishing a long-term, strategic partnership between Uzbekistan State World Languages University and Baku Slavic University in the fields of education and science, focused on concrete areas and practical outcomes.
