On January 28, another session of the English language club was organized at Secondary School No. 283.
The session was conducted under the supervision of S. Mannonova, a lecturer of the Department of Theoretical English Language Disciplines at the Faculty of English Philology, and was led by fourth-year students S. Boynazarova and N. Rustamova.
The session was devoted to the topic “Solve the Classroom Mystery” and aimed to increase students’ engagement in the learning process. During the session, participants developed their logical thinking skills by solving a mysterious situation that occurred in the classroom, practiced expressing their ideas and suggestions for problem-solving in English, and strengthened their teamwork and collaboration skills. In addition, tasks focused on critical and creative thinking generated great interest among the students.
The grammatical topic “Shall I…? / Shall we…?” was explained through examples of making suggestions and offering help. Based on these grammatical structures, students constructed sentences related to solving the problem collaboratively and had the opportunity to reinforce their knowledge through practical exercises.
