On December 15, a seminar-training session for doctoral and master’s students was held at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University within the framework of the international project “Promoting inclusiveness through gender-aware pedagogy in second-language writing assessment”, implemented in cooperation with representatives of the University of Leeds (United Kingdom) — Professor Diana Pecorari and Professor Diana McCray.

During the seminar-training, participants were introduced to modern methods aimed at ensuring the principles of equality, objectivity, and fairness in the assessment of written work. Through practical activities, these methods were discussed and the possibilities for their application were analyzed.

The seminar-training was designed to enrich the research approaches of doctoral and master’s students, broaden their knowledge of inclusive assessment criteria, and develop methodological thinking based on international experience.
