On February 18, the next session of the English language club was held at Secondary School No. 283. The lesson was conducted under the supervision of S. Mannonova, a lecturer of the Department of Theoretical English Language Disciplines of the Faculty of English Philology, together with fourth-year students S. Boynazarova and N. Rustamova.

The lesson was devoted to the topic “Healthy and Unhealthy Habits” and aimed at strengthening students’ language skills. During the lesson, students:

• learned new words and expressions related to healthy and unhealthy habits;

• exchanged opinions in English about everyday habits;

• developed their reading and listening comprehension skills;

• expressed their views on the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

In addition, the grammatical topic Past Simple (regular verbs) was explained in a systematic manner. Students reinforced the use of past tense forms of regular verbs (with the -ed ending) through practical exercises, linking theoretical knowledge with practice using example sentences such as “I cleaned my room”, “She visited the doctor”, “They played football”.

The lesson concluded in an engaging and productive atmosphere, marked by students’ active participation and strong interest.
